Biography:
Mr. Barnes has successfully represented clients before U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Federal District Court, and Kentucky state courts, and has served as a lecturer on bankruptcy issues. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Mr. Barnes worked for three years as an English teacher for the J.E.T. Programme in Hiroshima, Japan, and is fluent in Japanese. Mr. Barnes’ note, Pharmaceutical Patents and TRIPS: A Comparison of India and South Africa, 91 Ky. L.J. 911(2003), was published in the Kentucky Law Journal.
